We will circulate the completed documentary film to film festivals globally, private screenings and intend to secure distribution through an entertainment streaming platform. We also intend to use the film for educational purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, college students interested in volunteering and/or activism, physicians and professionals in the psychiatric field, sex-trafficking researchers and non-profit organizations in relative fields who would benefit from the in-depth and intimate stories that are told in the film.taking this project on, gives her an extra push. She hopes that by telling the stories of these boys’ experiences, and now her own, anyone watching will find strength and an opportunity for healing. On the film’s website and at the film’s screenings, we will provide extensive educational materials on the current issues on sex tourism and the exploitation of at-risk boys and young men. We will also provide information and links to Urban-Light.org, the only organization in Thailand dedicated to restoring, rebuilding and empowering the lives of young males in Thailand to live a life outside the grasp of exploitation and trafficking. Their services and support also extends to the working youth who may be suffering drug and/or acute substance use disorders, living on the streets, or those who are at risk of being exploited sexually and for labor. Visitors to the site will have the option to donate or volunteer for the organization. Our efforts to spread this awareness will extend to doing college screening tours and offering the chance for students to host their own screenings.
